24/7 Customer Service
Everything on this page is gas or air quality work our licensed technicians handle alongside furnace and air conditioner service. Most of it is a half day job. If you are not sure whether what you need is on this list, call (613) 266-9742 and we will tell you straight, including when the answer is that you do not need it.
what we do
Our Services
what else we do
Gas, Water Heater and Air Quality Work
Gas Stove Installation
Swapping an electric range for gas means a new gas line, a shut off valve and a pressure test before anything gets lit. Our technicians handle all of it, check the connection for leaks and show you where the shut off is. If your kitchen has no gas service yet, we will tell you what running a line there involves before you commit to anything.
Gas Dryer Installation
A gas dryer costs less to run than an electric one, but it needs a proper gas connection and a vent that actually moves air. We connect the line, test it, check the vent run for length and lint build up, then confirm the dryer drafts the way it should. Most installations take an hour or two.
BBQ Gas Line Installation
A permanent line out to the deck means no more hauling propane tanks in July. We run the line from your existing meter, size it for the grill, pressure test it and leave you with the paperwork. A single line to a barbecue is usually a one day job, and we clean up the route so it looks like it was always there.
Gas Fireplace Installation
A new fireplace or an insert needs the right venting, the right clearances and a gas line sized for the appliance. None of that is guesswork. We install the unit, run and test the line, set up the venting and confirm it burns clean before we pack up.
HEPA Filter Installation
A one inch furnace filter catches dust. It does not catch much else. A whole home HEPA or high efficiency filter cabinet mounts on the ductwork and filters everything the furnace moves, which matters when someone in the house has allergies or asthma. We size it so it cleans the air without choking your airflow.
Whole-House Humidifiers
Ottawa winters run dry enough to crack hardwood and split trim. A bypass or steam humidifier mounted on the furnace holds the whole house at a steady level instead of you chasing it room by room with portable units. We install it, wire the humidistat and set it for the season.
Tankless Water Heaters
A tankless unit heats water as you use it, so you are not paying to keep a tank hot all night. It also needs a larger gas line and its own venting, and that is where most retrofits get complicated. We check what your house can actually support before we quote the job, rather than after.
Tank Water Heaters
When a tank goes, it usually goes on a weekday morning with no warning. We replace gas and electric tanks, size the new one to how much hot water your household really uses instead of defaulting to whatever was there before, and haul the old unit away. Same day replacement is often possible.
Heat Pumps
A cold climate heat pump heats and cools with the same box, and the current generation keeps producing heat well below freezing rather than tapping out the first cold snap. Whether one makes sense for your house depends on your ductwork, your insulation and what you heat with now. We will walk you through it before anyone talks about equipment.
Ductless and Mini-Split Systems
Additions, century homes, finished basements, garages and offices over a garage all have the same problem: no ductwork to extend. A ductless head on the wall solves it with one small penetration and no rebuild. Each head runs on its own thermostat, so you are not heating rooms nobody is in.
Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning
Duct cleaning gets oversold. It genuinely helps after a renovation, after you buy a house with a history you do not know, or when there is visible debris in the returns. A blocked dryer vent is a different story and worth acting on, because lint restricts airflow and lint is what starts dryer fires. We will tell you which situation you are in.
Indoor Air Quality
Filtration, ventilation and humidity are three separate problems and each one has a different fix. Dust and allergens are a filtration question, stale air is a ventilation question, and dry winter air is a humidity question. We do not sell UV air filtration, because in a typical Ottawa home it does not earn what it costs.
Commercial HVAC
Offices, retail units, restaurants and small industrial spaces run on rooftop units, make-up air and split systems that fail differently from residential equipment, usually at the worst possible hour. We service and replace them, and we answer the phone at 3am the same way we do for a house.
Air Conditioner Installation
Replacing a central air conditioner is mostly about getting the size right. Too big and it short cycles, never pulls the humidity out, and wears its compressor early. We size from the house rather than from whatever was there before, and we tell you what actually drives the price on your particular job.
24 Hour Emergency Service
No heat in January, no cooling in a heatwave, a gas smell or water pooling under the furnace. Those do not wait for business hours and neither do we. Someone picks up the phone every hour of every day, including holidays, and gives you a real arrival window.
Financing
Equipment failure does not wait for a convenient payday. We offer flexible payment plans on new furnace, air conditioner, heat pump and water heater installs, so a full replacement does not have to come out of savings all at once.
Reviews
Most of our work still comes from word of mouth. See what Ottawa homeowners actually say about the technicians who showed up at their door, on Google and HomeStars, before you book.
