These terms cover the use of justairhvac.ca and the information published on it. By browsing the site, submitting the contact form or booking a service call through it, you agree to what is set out below. If you do not agree with any of it, please do not use the site.

Who You Are Dealing With

This website is operated by Just Air HVAC, a heating, cooling and gas appliance contractor based in Ottawa, Ontario. Anywhere the words “we”, “us” or “our” appear on this page, they mean Just Air HVAC. You can reach us at (613) 266-9742 or through the contact page.

What the Information on This Site Is For

Everything published here is general information about the services we offer. It is not a diagnosis of your equipment, and it is not a quote. Heating and cooling systems vary enough that nothing written on a web page can tell you what is wrong with yours or what it will cost to put right. A technician has to look at it.

We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not promise that every page is free of errors or fully up to date at the moment you read it. Equipment models, availability and third party program details change without notice.

Booking a Service Call

Submitting the contact form or a booking request on this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists once we have confirmed it with you directly by phone or email, including the date, the time window and what we are attending for. We will tell you at that point if there is a diagnostic or service call charge and what it is, before we come out.

Pricing and Quotes

Any price, discount or figure shown anywhere on this site is for general reference only and can change. The price that applies to your job is the one we give you for that job, in writing, before the work starts. If the scope changes once we are on site, we will stop and tell you what the change means for the price before we carry on.

Promotions and Offers

Promotional offers that appear on the site are subject to conditions, can be withdrawn or changed at any time, and are not automatically combinable with each other or with any rebate or manufacturer promotion. Ask us for the current conditions of an offer when you book, and we will confirm whether it applies to your job.

$100 Off Your Repair Offer

Where this site advertises $100 off a repair, here is how it works. The offer applies to a completed repair, one discount per household per visit. It cannot be combined with any other discount, coupon or promotion, including manufacturer or utility rebates. You need to mention the offer when you book so we can apply it to your invoice. Just Air HVAC may change or withdraw this offer at any time without notice.

Warranties

Any warranty on equipment we install comes from the manufacturer of that equipment and is governed by the manufacturer’s own terms, including its registration requirements, exclusions and expiry. Any warranty we provide on our own workmanship is the one set out in the paperwork you receive for that job. Nothing written on this website adds to, extends or replaces either of them.

Warranty coverage generally does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, work performed by someone else, power problems, water damage, or anything outside the equipment we supplied and installed.

10-Year Installation Warranty

Where we say an installation is backed by a 10-year warranty, that warranty covers the quality of Just Air HVAC’s own installation workmanship for ten years from the date of install, on equipment we supplied and installed. It is separate from any warranty the equipment manufacturer provides, which is governed by the manufacturer’s own terms and timelines, not ours. Our installation warranty does not cover damage caused by lack of maintenance, unauthorised modification of the equipment, or work carried out by anyone other than Just Air HVAC.

Rebate and Incentive Information

Where we mention a government or utility rebate program, we are pointing you at a program run by someone else. Eligibility rules, amounts, deadlines and application steps are set by the program administrator, not by us, and they change. Always confirm the current terms on the program’s own website before you buy anything, and check whether pre approval is required. We can tell you what we have seen recently, but we cannot approve or guarantee anyone’s rebate.

Service Area

We serve Ottawa, Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Barrhaven, Clarence-Rockland and the surrounding communities. If you are outside that area, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.

Your Use of the Site

Please use this site for its intended purpose, which is finding out about our services and getting in touch. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, gain access to parts of it that are not public, scrape it at a volume that affects other visitors, or use anything on it to build a competing service listing.

Content and Images

The text, images, logos and layout on this site belong to Just Air HVAC or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to any page here. Copying pages or substantial sections onto another website is not permitted without our written agreement.

Links to Other Websites

Some pages link out to manufacturers, utilities and government programs. Those sites are run by other organisations. We link to them because they are the primary source for something we have mentioned, not because we control what they publish or endorse everything on them.

Information You Send Us

When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type into it, which is normally your name, contact details and a description of the problem. We use it to answer you, to schedule work and to keep a record of the service history on your equipment. We do not sell it. If you want to know what we hold on you or want it removed, call us and ask. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on what we collect and how it is handled.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from reliance on general information published on it, as distinct from work we have actually performed for you under a service agreement. Nothing in these terms limits or removes any right you have under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be contracted out of.

Changes to These Terms

We may update this page. When we do, the date at the top changes. The version live on the site at the time you use it is the version that applies.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply in it.
